Heated exchange

According to the church's live stream seen by TUKO.co.ke, the police officer standing on the alter is seen asking the church leader to vacate as places of worship are not allowed to operate in the revised COVID-19 regulations.

Another pastor who has since been identified as Peter Mwarabu took issue with the officer's move to step on the church's altar with a weapon.

He, in turn, engaged in a heated exchange with the police insisting that God will punish him.

"You have harassed us. How can a police officer step on the God's altar with a firearm. Mungu atadeal na nyinyi, loosely translated as God will punish you," said Mwarabu.
