‘It’s our constitutional duty to help persecuted irrespective of religion,’ says Kapil Sibal

Congress leader Kapil Sibal on August 29 said that he supports Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s remark of helping Indians facing crisis around the world. “Anybody, who is persecuted whether they are Hindu, Afghani or anybody else, it is our constitutional duty to help and protect them. I welcome what PM Modi has said. But at the same time, it should not be restricted to the people of a certain religion,” said Congress leader Kapil Sibal.
