General consul of Bolivia visits WCC to strengthen collaborative work

The Bolivian consul asked for solidarity and collaboration from the WCC for activities with Bolivian communities in Switzerland, and with WCC member churches in Bolivia. Discussions also touched on the potential of Bolivian students applying for coursework at the Bossey Ecumenical Institute.

The meeting formed the foundation for further collaboration, said Sauca. “We are strengthening the kinds of bonds that form the backbone of the ecumenical movement,” said Sauca. “Churches in Bolivia seeking to learn even more about the ecumenical movement  are welcome to join our call to one another to visible unity in one faith.”
