Bellwether International is pleased to launch the second annual art contest. The first inaugural art contest was launched last year as part of the UK Ministerial for Freedom of Religion or Belief.

Submission Details

Art Supplies

Categories

Bellwether International welcome artists from all over the world to submit under one of the two categories:

1- What does freedom of religion or belief mean to me?

2- Honoring the Uyghur People and Culture.


Three winners will be selected in each category for a total of six prize winners. The first-place prize in each category will have their art displayed in UK Parliament as a reminder of the importance of religious freedom and human dignity for all people.

Geometric Shapes

Criteria

Two-Dimensional (2D) art in any form will be accepted and considered for the grand prize. Each piece will be judged on craftsmanship, content, and originality. Honorable mention awards will be highlighted on the website and as part of the Ministerial Conference in Parliament.

Timeline

Deadline EXTENDED: please continue to submit art until October 13, 2023. The first place prize winner in each category will be invited to attend the unveiling ceremony and art awards celebration the first week of December.

Prizes

Three prize winners will be awarded in each category. 
First Place: $2,000
Second Place: $1,500
Third Place: $1,000
