TOWN OF WALLKILL — A blood drive Sunday will support a local woman who has kidney disease.

“Friends of Lindsey,” which aims to bolster the community blood supply and raise awareness of organ donation, will be from 12:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Sunday, April 22, at the Town of Wallkill Community Center on Wes Warren Drive.

Lindsey Winer, 28, a Wallkill resident and Pine Bush High School graduate, was diagnosed with a severe form of kidney disease in 2001. Her mother, Shelly Sanborn, is sponsoring the blood drive with the New York Blood Center.
