Yesterday at the DC Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, thousands attended a Mass and Pilgrimage for Life and Liberty. The event was sponsored the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops' Ad Hoc Committee for Religious Freedom.
The Mass, celebrated by Archbishop Lori of Baltimore, encouraged Catholics to pray a rosary novena for religious liberty and respect for human life. The archbishop emphasized the importance of voting based on these issues.
